The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a a part-time Psychologist II to join the Insomnia Clinic. The Insomnia Clinic provides behavioral treatments for insomnia that do not involve medications. Primary duties include:- Delivering CBT-I through structured individual therapy sessions
- Reviewing intake materials to develop personalized treatment plans
- Tracking patients progress through sleep diaries, clinical assessments and session interactions
- Maintaining timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
- Other clinician duties as assigned
Salary range: $66.94/hr - $88.28/hr
Job Qualifications

PhD or PsyD in Clinica PsychologyValid CA Psychologist LicenseMinimum 2 years of post-doc experiencePrevious experience with insomnia patientsPrevious experience with CBT-IMinimum 2 years as a CBT-1 provider (preferred)Strong computer skills including word processing, e-mail systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical recordsAbility to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to work and practice professional relationships with other therapists, medical personnel, and patientsAs a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
