We are looking for a HR Specialist – Global Mobility (m/f/d) to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will combine hands-on operational case management for cross-border assignments with a compliance focus on immigration, tax, social security, and labor law topics. You will help ensure that our international workforce is managed in line with internal policies and external requirements.

Job Description

  • Manage and coordinate operational Global Mobility cases, especially international assignments, and related documentation
  • Support visa, work permit, and relocation processes in cooperation with external vendors
  • Research and summarize country-specific requirements
  • Provide practical guidance on immigration, tax, social security, and labor law requirements in cross-border employment scenarios
  • Support case escalations where needed and coordinate appropriate follow-up measures
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and reporting on case status, compliance milestones, and document completion
  • Contribute to process improvements, templates, and internal guidance documents to strengthen service quality and compliance

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a comparable qualification
  • Solid understanding and min. 3 years relevant experience in Global Mobility or HR compliance in an international environment
  • Legal affinity is a strong advantage
  • Structured, detail-oriented and reliable working style, with strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with a centrally managed overseas Global Mobility team and cross-functional stakeholders, including HR, Finance, Legal, Tax and business leaders.
  • Excellent English skills, written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and confidence working with AI, digital tools, templates, and case trackers
