Provide support and coaching to EH&S Coordinators of Business Unit Sites, implementing and assurance of compliance of standards, plans, programs and goals established by TE Connectivity and setting appropriate business and/or site specific EHS goals and requirements.Requisitos del puesto
- Assure the compliance of EHS standards, programs, plans and goals along the Business Unit.Coordination of Safety, Emergency and Hygiene Committee. Periodic inspection to work areas in order to verify safety conditions in the facilities.
- Represent Business Unit in the TE EHS Council (currently 1 hour conference call every month and meeting 1-2 times per year).
- Ensure complete and timely submittal of required EHS reports from all sites in the business unit.Regularly review measurements of EHS performance, serious incidents, exceedances NOVs etc. and drive continuous improvement.Monitor audit findings, closure rates, follow-up with plants, look for common issues across plants, etc.
- Coordination of Safety, Emergency and Hygiene Committee.
- Periodic inspection to work areas to verify safety conditions in the facilities.
- Supervise the proper application systems and programs related to the safety, health and environmental control of direct reports.
- Follow up and supervision to comply with the EHS indicators.Verify the employee’s safety work conditions.
- Periodically visit sites for review of site conditions and management review of EHS issues.
- Regularly communicate with and facilitate communication among plant personnel to share problems and solutions and identify issues.
- Regularly communicate with plant and business unit management on performance, challenges and opportunities.
- All other duties as assigned.
