Job DescriptionAs a Senior Project Manager (Sr PM), you are responsible for leading IT Infrastructure, Modern Workplace, and Cloud projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines. You will manage project planning, stakeholder engagement, risk and financial oversight, vendor relationships, and cross-functional teams while driving cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and workplace transformation initiatives. The role also ensures compliance with security standards and promotes continuous improvement in project delivery processes to achieve business and technology objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
- IT infrastructure, Modern workplace, and Cloud Projects: Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle for critical IT infrastructure, Modern workplace, and cloud projects, such as data center migrations, network upgrades, digital workplace solutions and cloud migrations.
- Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive project plans for IT infrastructure, Modern workplace, and cloud initiatives, including defining project scope, objectives, budget, timeline, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal IT teams, cloud service providers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements, define deliverables, and ensure alignment with organizational IT goals.
- Cloud Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to architect and execute cloud migration and optimization projects.
- IT Security Compliance: Ensure that IT infrastructure, Modern workplace and cloud projects adhere to cybersecurity and compliance standards, implementing appropriate controls and safeguards.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues specific to IT infrastructure, Modern workplace, and cloud projects, making data-driven decisions to keep projects on track.
- Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional project teams, including IT specialists, cloud architects, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly track project progress for IT infrastructure, Modern workplace and cloud initiatives, report on key milestones, and communicate project status to senior management.
- Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets for IT infrastructure, Modern workplace, and cloud projects, closely monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures as needed.
- Vendor Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with cloud service providers, vendors, and contractors involved in IT infrastructure, Modern workplace, and cloud projects.
- Process Improvement: Continuously enhance project management processes and methodologies for IT infrastructure, Modern workplace, and cloud initiatives to optimize efficiency and project outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree, PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager in successfully delivering complex IT infrastructure, Modern workplace, and cloud projects.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, Modern workplace components, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and industry best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
