Job Description
What We Are Looking For
Check Point is looking for a high-impact Major Account Manager ready to win new strategic logos and unlock growth across a focused portfolio of approximately 20 existing customers and prospects. In this role, you will shape bold, multi-year account strategies, lead complex deals with senior decision-makers, and bring together a virtual account team to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers in a channel-friendly environment. This is an opportunity to own a critical territory, build trusted executive relationships, and help some of the world’s leading organizations stay secure as they accelerate their digital and AI transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new, expansion and renewal opportunities across all accounts
Acquire new strategic logos while farming and expanding existing accounts
Build executive relationships and secure senior-level access
Develop and execute major account plans with multi-year view
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deal orchestration
Lead contract and pricing negotiations
Prioritize effectively across a large book of business
Use Check Point tools to manage accounts, pipelines and forecast
Coordinate a virtual account team (specialists, SE, etc)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct sales experience in enterprise technology, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, networking, or infrastructure
- Proven success selling into State, Local Government, and/or Education accounts
- Strong understanding of State of Georgia procurement, budgeting cycles, and funding mechanisms
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic accounts
- Self-starter with excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel regionally as needed (estimated 50%)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing relationships within Georgia state agencies and Higher Education Institutions
- Experience working with or through public sector channels and distributors
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements in SLED
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM
