About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and self-motivated Loss Prevention & Safety Partner to join our team at Accent Group's EVO Distribution Centre in Truganina.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone based in Melbourne's west who is looking to grow their career in Loss Prevention & Safety while bringing their retail or distribution experience into a new environment!

What You'll Do
• Partner with the Distribution Centre leadership team to minimise stock loss and improve workplace safety.
• Conduct regular compliance audits, safety inspections and operational walkthroughs across the Distribution Centre.
• Identify safety risks, investigate incidents and support corrective actions to reduce future risks.
• Lead and support investigations into theft, stock loss, policy breaches and other workplace incidents.
• Monitor Distribution Centre shrink and identify opportunities to improve inventory controls and operational processes.
• Manage site security including access control systems, CCTV, alarms, keys, safes and visitor management.
• Support emergency response procedures and liaise with emergency services and external security providers when required.
• Deliver coaching, guidance and training to support compliance with Loss Prevention and Safety standards.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and external suppliers to ensure best practice outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting and documentation across all investigations, audits and safety activities.
What We're Looking For
• Previous experience in a retail, Loss Prevention, Safety, Security or Distribution Centre role.
• A self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and making a positive impact.
• Experience investigating incidents, solving problems and making fact-based decisions.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stocktakes or shrink reduction is highly regarded.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety or a genuine interest in developing your capability in this area.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.
• A collaborative approach and passion for continuous improvement.
• A customer-first mindset and commitment to creating safe, secure and efficient operations.
