As an Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a critical role in our pre construction and estimating team, producing accurate, competitive estimates that drive successful bids and profitable projects. This is a highly visible role for someone who understands commercial electrical construction, values precision, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Job Duties:
  • Prepare detailed electrical construction estimates (labor, materials, equipment)
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Solicit, analyze, and qualify subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Price specialty and standard electrical equipment
  • Develop and validate assumptions, clarifications, and risk assessments
  • Support value engineering, budgeting, and preconstruction pricing
  • Maintain historical cost data and estimating databases
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and preconstruction teams to ensure seamless project handoff
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial construction
  • Experience with commercial electrical systems, materials, and installation methods
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Trimble Accubid v16 preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high standard for accuracy, accountability, and performance
