A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Transportation Program Manager - EMEA will manage complex, cross channel transportation flows for New Product Introduction (NPI) launches and sustain distribution in EMEA region. The primary mission of this role is to deliver an exceptional customer delivery experience while optimizing for cost, speed, and security. Being responsible for core metrics like On-Time Delivery and Cost Per Unit, you will ensure Google’s hardware devices and accessories move through the EMEA network efficiently, securely, and in adherence to trade and safety compliance.

You will own day-to-day transportation operation, serve as the primary escalation point, driving immediate resolution and Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA), manage carrier performance, leading regular business reviews to enforce Service Level Agreement (SLA), costs efficiency and unlock new transportation capabilities. In addition, you will be a data-driven problem solver, leveraging transportation analytics to improve network visibility, gain insights, minimize manual workflows to make our transportation network faster, more resilient and cost effective.

Responsibilities

  • Manage transportation operation in Pre-Production, B2B, Business-to-Consumer (B2C), Business-to-Government (B2G), Inbound, and Internal Transfer flows for Google's hardware devices distribution.
  • Monitor carrier performance against established SLAs and quality metrics, lead periodical business reviews with vendors to hold them accountable for operational health, address operational issues, explore and unlock carriers' new capabilities, and build partnership with carriers.
  • Serve as the first line of escalation for cross-functional teams on transportation operation issues, work with carriers and partners to solve the issue, or root cause and take corrective actions timely, improve processes and tools to prevent similar issues from happening again.
  • Improve visibility of EMEA transportation movements, build reports and leverage data to gain transportation insights, help make decisions, automate wherever possible to improve self productivity.
