Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will oversee quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the pre-contract and post-contract phases of projects. You will lead a team of QA/QC professionals, establish quality standards, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, decisive leadership, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards across all project deliverables.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC strategies and procedures for pre-contract and post-contract project phases
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise QA/QC team members, providing guidance on quality standards and best practices
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements
  • Analyze quality data and prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, non-conformances, and corrective actions
  • Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent issues before they impact project delivery
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve quality-related concerns and implement solutions
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all QA/QC activities, test results, and compliance records
  • Ensure adherence to relevant Saudi Arabian regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies
  • Conduct training sessions for project teams on quality procedures and compliance requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures and recommend process improvements
  • Manage quality-related communications with clients and regulatory authorities

Qualifications

Minimum 15 years of professional experience in QA/QC management within construction, engineering, or PMC environments

  • Proven expertise in pre-contract and post-contract quality management processes
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing QA/QC teams
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex quality data
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities
  • Experience with risk assessment and mitigation planning

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction standards and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management certifications
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
  • Background in construction or infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
  • Experience with stakeholder management and client relations
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
