Your new role
As Sr.Medical Manager, you will lead and shape the medical affairs strategy across your assigned markets, ensuring scientific excellence underpins every step of our journey to reach more patients. This is a role where your medical expertise directly influences how millions of people access and benefit from our treatments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing the medical affairs strategy aligned with regional and global priorities across key therapy areas including diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease
- Leading scientific engagement with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals and medical societies to build trust and advance treatment understanding
- Driving evidence generation activities including real-world evidence studies, investigator-initiated trials and publication strategies
- Providing medical and scientific leadership to cross-functional teams, acting as the medical voice in commercial and market access decisions
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards across all medical activities in your markets
- Building and developing a high-performing medical affairs team, fostering scientific curiosity and operational excellence
- Collaborating with global medical affairs and development teams to align local execution with the broader pipeline strategy

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a Sr.Medical Manager who combines scientific depth with strategic vision and the ability to inspire teams across diverse markets. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A medical degree (MD) or equivalent medical/scientific doctorate (PhD, PharmD) with strong clinical or scientific credentials
- 8+ years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development or a related scientific function within the pharmaceutical industry, including leadership responsibilities
- Proven experience in developing and implementing medical strategies across multiple markets, ideally within cardiometabolic, diabetes or obesity therapeutic areas
- Strong track record of building relationships with key opinion leaders and navigating complex stakeholder environments
- Demonstrated people leadership skills with experience building, coaching and developing medical affairs teams
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific data into compelling strategic narratives; fluency in English is required
