Be the General Manager of Bartholomew’s Bar at London Museum, one of London's most significant cultural openings. The doors open on 28 November in the heart of historic Smithfield, bringing together thousands of years of London's history through world class events, experiences and hospitality.
We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational Bar General Manager to shape and lead Bartholomew’s Bar operation. This is far more than an operational leadership role. It's an opportunity to establish world-class standards, build and inspire a high-performing team and create memorable guest experiences through exceptional collaboration, an innovative beverage programme and a commitment to seasonality, sustainability and commercial excellence.

Operations. Lead the day-to-day bar operation, setting the standard for service, quality and guest experience.
People. Build, coach and inspire a high-performing team, creating a culture of excellence and continuous development.
Creativity and Product. Drive the food and beverage offer through innovation, supplier partnerships and a keen eye on industry trends.
Commercial Performance. Take ownership of stock, labour and financial performance while maintaining exceptional operational standards.
Collaboration. Work collaboratively with the restaurant, events and wider museum teams to deliver seamless experiences across the estate.
What you’ll bring as Bar General Manager?
- Proven experience leading a premium, high-volume bar with a strong understanding of cocktails and beverage operations.
- A hands-on leadership style, able to inspire your team and remain calm and decisive during busy service.
- Strong commercial and operational awareness, with experience managing stock, labour and financial performance.
