Product Management (Prepaid) Specialist

Job Description This role requires taking some initial direction, then shaping concepts ahead of time to meet the GTM calendar timeline. It involves willingness to step into an end-to-end role when needed and is not afraid of delving into actual operational matters. Working within the Prepaid Products team, the role encompasses managing the full range of Prepaid offerings for Malaysian and migrant segments, driving profitability, innovation, and customer engagement. Ensuring alignment with governance frameworks from the Product Management and Strategy team is key, as is collaboration with core product teams to ensure cohesion. Other responsibilities include analyzing data on customer patterns, assessing the market environment, tracking competitor movements, and preparing and presenting concept proposals at relevant forums.Responsibilities

• Formulate strategies for product/service development, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and strategies
• Analyse market trends to ascertain customer behaviour patterns and product/service preferences
• Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities and industry developments for potential business risks and opportunities
• Develop and present business case proposals including concepts, profit projections, and strategic approaches
• Effectively communicate business plans and concepts, clearly outlining customer benefits, financial returns, and the scope of opportunity
• Coordinate with Product Development and Market Launch teams to ensure the successful introduction of new products/services to market
• Regularly track and evaluate performance based on user acquisition, revenue generation and profitability targets, and adjust strategies as required.

Requirements

• 5-8 years experience
• Demonstrable experience in a customer-facing role or commercially oriented function
• Strong interpersonal skills with drive/persistence/patience to deliver
• Some experience with billing systems/project management/marketing communications will be advantageous
