South City Panels, located in South Geelong, is a spacious and modern workshop that handles small to large-scale repairs. Our dedicated team of 17 professionals works in a well-equipped environment featuring two spray booths with extractors and a Car-O-Liner 3D measuring system. The Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Panel Beater to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice who is progressing through their trade and looking to further develop their skills in a professional, supportive environment. Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll gain hands-on experience across a variety of repair work and continue building the knowledge and confidence needed to become a qualified Panel Beater.

This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities available.

What You'll Do
  • Disassemble vehicles and label parts for storage
  • Identify damaged or broken parts and report them to the Estimator
  • Check all replacement parts for accuracy and damage
  • Carry out repairs in line with the Repair Method and Job Sheet
  • Assist with structural and non-structural repairs under supervision
  • Reassemble vehicles to specified requirements
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
What We're Looking For
  • Currently completing a 3rd or 4th Year Apprenticeship in Panel Beating
  • A strong passion for the automotive repair industry
  • Growing knowledge of panel repair techniques and workshop practices
  • Reliable with excellent attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced tradespeople
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
