Newrest Iceland is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Night Cleaning Operative to join our cleaning team. The person in this position will be responsible for carrying out specialized cleaning of production and company areas in accordance with company policies, hygiene standards, and established cleaning procedures.
The operations will take place in Newrest catering unit at Keflavik International Airport. The unit will be fitted with the latest technologies and innovations that mirror Newrest Group environmental commitments to productivity and sustainability.

Main Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning according to the cleaning schedule.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and company cleaning procedures at all times.
- Use cleaning materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work as part of a team to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Report any damage, irregularities, or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Ensure all assigned cleaning tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain professionalism and effective communication within the cleaning team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in professional or industrial cleaning (preferred but not required).
- Ability to follow instructions and cleaning procedures accurately.
- Reliability, responsibility, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work evening shifts.
- Punctuality
- Ability to work under pressure
- Positive mindset
A clean criminal record and 18 years of age are prerequisites for employment at Newrest.
