Join us in this role where you’ll act as the senior technical accounting expert across our Americas Onshore business. You’ll ensure high-quality accounting decisions for complex transactions and help strengthen how we apply US GAAP and IFRS across a growing and evolving business. 

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, supporting key business decisions while building strong accounting practices that enable us to deliver on our strategy. 

 

Welcome to Financial Policy & Controls 

You’ll be part of the Accounting team within Americas Onshore Finance, where you’ll work closely with finance colleagues, business stakeholders, and external auditors. Together, you’ll ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality accounting across the business. As a team, we succeed as one, share knowledge openly, and support each other in solving complex challenges. 

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading technical accounting assessments for complex transactions across US GAAP and IFRS
  • researching and concluding on accounting topics such as business combinations, leases, derivatives, and structured arrangements
  • preparing clear, audit-ready technical accounting memos
  • acting as the key point of contact for external auditors on complex accounting matters
  • supporting transaction structuring by partnering with internal stakeholders early in the process
  • leading accounting workstreams for M&A activities, asset acquisitions, and divestments
  • driving the implementation of new accounting standards and strengthening accounting policies
  • mentoring colleagues and raising the overall technical capability within the accounting team
  • establishing practical frameworks and templates for complex accounting areas 

 

To succeed in the role, you: 

  • have a CPA (or equivalent) and solid experience in public accounting or an international company
  • bring strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, both conceptually and in practice
  • have experience with complex accounting topics such as revenue recognition, leases, or business combinations
  • communicate clearly and confidently, making complex financial topics easy to understand
  • take ownership, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time
  • enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting others’ development
  • are structured, analytical, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment

Position salary range: 

The salary range for this position is USD $155,964.00 to USD $222,805.00.

Our salary ranges are based on position level and reflect the cost of labor across multiple U.S geographic markets. Individual pay within the range is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can provide more details about the applicable salary range during the hiring process.

 

Variable Compensation:  Our total rewards package may include discretionary short-term and long-term incentive opportunities based on your pay band and performance. These may be changed or suspended based on the sole discretion of the company
