The AI Full-Stack Engineer builds and maintains a highly complex, 100% tailor-made SAP Commerce / SAP Commerce Cloud platform across frontend and backend, with extensive third-party and interface integration. The role is hands-on and works with strong AI support: an AI coding agent accelerates code generation while the engineer stays very hands-on - adapting, correcting, and owning the implementation - with a strong focus on business processes.
The AI Full-Stack Engineer works end-to-end across the storefront (Angular / Spartacus / composable frontend), backend (SAP Commerce / Java), APIs, and the many integrations of this highly integrative platform.
What you will do
- Build and maintain the SAP Commerce / SAP Commerce Cloud platform across frontend and backend
- Turn business and functional requirements into working, tested, high-quality features
- Build hands-on with an AI coding agent, then adapt, correct, refactor, and debug the output to meet quality, performance, and security standards
- Build and consume APIs and integrations with the many connected systems (SSC, CPQ, ERP, CRM, payment, search, tax, third parties)
- Collaborate with Business on-site to support projects
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain the platform across the full stack for performance, security, and reliability
- Improve how AI coding support is used to accelerate and broaden delivery
What we require
- Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on full-stack development, ideally in e-commerce or digital commerce
- Solid full-stack build experience: backend (Java / SAP Commerce) and modern frontend (Angular / Spartacus or comparable)
- Experience with SAP Commerce / SAP Commerce Cloud is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, and service-oriented architecture in highly integrative environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality, testing, and security
- Ability to take ownership of features end-to-end and drive them to completion
- English – Business fluency
