Description du poste

You'll: 

  • Perform ongoing oversight of delegated Portfolio Managers and Investment Advisors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, fund documentation and investment mandates.
  • Deep knowledge of the CSSF circular 18/698 on the authorization and organization of investment fund managers and anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing
  • Conduct initial and periodic due diligence reviews of investment delegates and assess the effectiveness of their governance, processes and controls.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, investment activity, risk exposures and compliance with investment restrictions across assigned funds.
  • Provide effective challenge to investment delegates and escalate material findings, exceptions and breaches to Conducting Officers and relevant governance bodies.
  • Prepare oversight reports, due diligence assessments and portfolio review materials for internal and client governance meetings.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, investment delegates and other stakeholders on portfolio oversight matters.
  • Support regulatory inspections, internal audits and the ongoing enhancement of the AIFM's portfolio management oversight framework.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the Portfolio Management Oversight function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3years of relevant experience within a Luxembourg AIFM, Management Company, Asset Manager or other regulated investment fund environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg fund regulations, AIFMD requirements and portfolio management oversight principles.
  • Proven experience in delegate oversight, investment due diligence and the review and challenge of external Portfolio Managers and Investment Advisors.
  • Fluent English with excellent analytical, stakeholder management and report-writing skills. CFA, CAIA or similar professional qualification would be considered an advantage.
