SummaryThe Human Resources Student Worker provides administrative and operational support to the HR department. This role offers a valuable opportunity for students interested in learning about HR practices within a professional setting. The student worker will contribute to day-to-day tasks, assist with special projects, and gain hands-on experience in various areas of human resources, including employment, onboarding, compliance and HR policy implementation. Examples of duties

• Perform clerical duties such as scanning, filing, and data entry

• Maintenance of HR software and databases

• Support ongoing HR projects

• Shadow HR team members to learn about HR operations and individual roles

• Provide general administrative support to HR staff as needed

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information

Qualifications

MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY

Must be Federal Work Study Eligible

Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter

• Preference given to students pursuing a major in Business or related fields

• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and multitask

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills appropriate for an office environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel

Description of Hours: Students will be scheduled during the hours of 10:00am-3:00pm, based on student's needs.
