Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Leader.
What you’ll do:Authority:
Stops the productive and maintenance processes if it represents a safety risk in our plant, request for materials for facilities areas. Participate in internal and external auditories, personnel management (vacations, permission, overtime, etc)
Job Summary:
This position develops, implements, and coordinates maintenance of the process in our plant, ensuring the correct functioning, preventive and corrective maintenance of our machines. Lead and develops technical team.
Job Responsibilities:
A. Lead, coach, and guide skilled trades within the maintenance department.
B. Ensure effective maintenance and optimized uptime of all production and facility equipment.
C. Coordinate support involvement, if required, on projects or problems within the facility. (ie; Engineering, Quality, etc.)
D. Issue daily work orders and maintain work and equipment records.
E. Responsible for the development and implementation of an effective PM system. Oversee and balance PM schedules.
F. Work in conjunction with manufacturing and product engineers, providing project and daily support.
G. Effectively manage scheduled and unscheduled resource demands to maximize plant/equipment uptime.
H. Ensure environmental requeriments acording with each tecnician
I. Lead full implementation of TPM thru the organization and facilitate training and resources for the implementation
J. Ensure the maintenance effectiveness through the MTTR (Main Time to Repair) and MTBF (Main Time between Failures) indicators.
K. Ensure expenses are below the forecast.
L. Participate in safety coaching. Provide EHS training (100% completion). Complete assigned EHS inspections. Respond to department EHS concerns. Enforce the rules. Include Safety topics in department meetings.
M. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.
N. Promotes the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.
O. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.
P. Generate standards to operate and maintain systems and equipment for power supply and plant services in good condition.
Q. Design and coordination of the construction of electrical, pneumatic and cooling water distribution installations and hydrosanitary systems.
R. Design, generate and comply with Preventive and Predictive maintenance programs for the Facilities area
S. Design and coordinate the integration of electrical control systems.
T. Provide support to the production areas and offices coordinating the supply of energy, lighting and services such as compressed air, cooling water, air extraction, drinking water and sanitary facilities
Education Level Required:
- Engineering related to the area.
- Minimum intermediate english
- Experience supervising people
Years and Area of Experience Required:
- 3-5 years experience in manufacturing, engineering and maintenance activities. #LI-MB2
Technical Knowledge:
- Knowledge in the areas of plant systems (air, water, electricity, etc).
- Understanding of State, National and OSHA required Electrical Codes.
- Manual and computer aided drafting techniques. Hydraulics, electronics, thermodynamics, coolants and lubricants. Product and process costing, plant layout. Product engineering and capital justification.
