Mission

Act as the strategic interface among Tech Units, Commodity Management and Suppliers to drive product competitiveness throughout the entire lifecycle.

By aligning product strategies and goals, commodity and supplier strategies, Procurement Engineering drives competitive advantages in cost, innovation, speed, resilience, sustainability and supply security.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Drive sourcing strategies and concepts aligned with product strategies and objectives, commodity strategies and supplier roadmaps.
  • Lead competitive supply chain readiness for new development products and relocation products, including supplier scouting, component sourcing and supplier innovation.
  • Drive cost, risk and resilience management throughout the product lifecycle in close collaboration with R&D, Commodity Management, CVE and suppliers.
  • Contribute proactively to product targets achievement such as schedule, product cost, productivity and supply continuity within the PLM framework.
  • Support product-related activities including pre-study, prototype building, organize technical exchanges between suppliers and R&D.
  • Leverage data analytics, digital tools and AI technologies to improve decision-making, sourcing efficiency and product competitiveness.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, majoring in Electronics or Electrical is preferred.
  • Experience in cost, risk and resilience management.
  • Experience in Strategic Procurement, Procurement Engineering, Commodity Management or Product Development is preferred.
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) and AI applications.
