Requirements
- 15–19 years of overall experience in software development and technology architecture.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Technology Architect, or Solution Architect with a strong focus on cloud architecture and generative AI.
- Deep expertise in designing and architecting large-scale enterprise applications and eCommerce platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and C#.
- Extensive knowledge of microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, API-first design, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure; AWS experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, NoSQL databases, caching technologies, and messaging platforms.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience integrating third-party systems, payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, modernization strategies, and legacy system transformation.
- Ability to evaluate, select, and validate technology stacks, frameworks, and architectural patterns aligned with business goals.
- Proven track record of leading architecture reviews, technical assessments, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide development teams through the entire software development lifecycle.
- Experience in effort estimation, solution sizing, risk assessment, and technology roadmap planning.
- Familiarity with architecture governance, security best practices, compliance requirements, and coding standards.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in retail and eCommerce domains, legacy application modernization programs, and cloud migration initiatives.
- Architecture certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall solution architecture for enterprise applications, eCommerce platforms, and legacy systems.
- Evaluate, identify, validate, and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns aligned with business objectives.
- Challenge existing technical approaches and provide alternative solutions to improve scalability, maintainability, security, and performance.
- Design end-to-end application architectures, integration strategies, and modernization roadmaps.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical assessments, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, and leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Define application, integration, security, cloud, and data architecture standards.
- Drive modernization of legacy applications to modern cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.
- Ensure adherence to architecture governance, coding standards, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in effort estimation, solution sizing, risk assessment, and technology roadmap planning.
- Support pre-sales activities, solution proposals, and customer presentations when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
