About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring our school environment remains safe, functional, and well maintained for students, staff, and visitors. You will carry out a wide range of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the campus, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repair work. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you will respond to maintenance requests, monitor the condition of buildings and equipment, coordinate contractors when required, and help ensure compliance with health and safety standards. You will also support the preparation of classrooms and event spaces, assist with logistical requirements across the school, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the campus
This is a permanent, full-time role with an August 2026 start date.

Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
• Experience in building maintenance, ideally within a school or customer-facing environment.
• A recognised qualification in Maintenance, Electrical, Electromechanical, Building Services, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
• A proactive, service-focused approach and commitment to teamwork.
• A strong understanding of safety, safeguarding, and professional responsibilities within a school environment.
