Job Description Summary
Develop and teach day and/or evening courses in Philosophy and/or Critical Thinking.
Duties
1. Develop and teach day and/or evening or online classes in Philosophy and/or Critical Thinking;
2. Maintain good communication with department chairperson, instructors, peers, and students;
3. Follow departmental standards for the course. Minimum Requirements 1. Master’s degree in Philosophy.
2. Technology skills appropriate to develop and teach online. Preferred Qualifications 1. Community college teaching experience. Special Instructions to Applicants 1. This is a continuous posting to recruit an applicant pool, openings may or may not exist at this time. Applications are evaluated on an as-needed basis only when hiring managers have a position that needs to be filled or class(es) that need to be staffed from semester to semester. Continuous postings will remain open for a period of 12 months. Applicants of continuous postings may or may not be notified as to the outcome of their candidacy. 2.
