Performs troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure efficient operation of production plant (including mechanical and electrical systems)
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment with minimal supervision
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Perform basic fabrication and welding to repair or modify equipment and components
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting on motors, drives, sensors, and basic control systems
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Support production uptime by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns
- Assist with equipment upgrades, improvements, and minor projects
- Provide guidance, training, and support to new employees
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and proper use of PPE
- Accurately document maintenance activities and completed work
- Other duties as assigned
