MDSearch is seeking a dynamic, patient-focused Family Physician with a Special Interest in Dermatology and cosmetic injecting experience to join a premier medical aesthetic clinic in Ottawa Downtown.
Mainly, you will provide a blend of medical dermatology care and cosmetic injectable treatments, including the diagnosis and management of common skin conditions (acne, rosacea, pigmentation), alongside neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) and dermal fillers. You will conduct full facial assessments and deliver natural, consistent aesthetic outcomes aligned with clinic standards.
This is a high-performance, production-driven role where clinical expertise, patient experience, and aesthetic results directly contribute to success.
Schedule
: 2- 4 days per week (flexible days, in-clinic only)
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Licensed General Practitioner in good standing with CPSO
- Minimum 2 years of injecting experience
- Diploma in Dermatology (e.g., Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology) or equivalent postgraduate dermatology training required
- Formal training in neuromodulators and dermal fillers
- Strong understanding of facial anatomy and complication management
- Comfortable managing common dermatologic conditions
- Experience in a private-pay or aesthetic setting preferred
- High level of ownership, professionalism, and patient care
- Dermatology-focused mindset (not a generalist-only practice)
- Strong aesthetic eye (symmetry, proportion, natural outcomes)
- Comfortable working in a reputation-sensitive, revenue-driven environment
- Open to mentorship and growth into leadership over time
- Commercially aware with strong patient relationship skills
- Collaborative team environment with patient coordinators, aestheticians, and clinic leadership
- Internal marketing support (SEO, referrals, campaigns) to help build your practice
